With an incredible light, it shined in the night sky to be seen from billions of light years away.
For some reason, I've always imagined dark matter as purple or a dark violet hue, so that came to be the primary color in this fractal.

Nice title - although the 'light' from a quasar - incredibly intense as it is - is not in the visible spectrum - that's why art is sometimes better than science though!
