"How many today, Melune?" "It's going to be a busy one; it looks like there's well over two hundred waiting outside." With a sigh, the Scryer of Time put on her hood and cloak, then set to tidying the room before yet another day of looking into people's mostly uninteresting futures. Just once, she would like to know if there was going to be anything more to her life than the day to day readings of people from across the Empire. "Enter and know your fate!" Melune shouted to the crowd, guiding the first person into the chamber. As he stepped forward, the Scryer of Time knew something was different: "I've never had an android request my services before." He smiled, knowing something she did not, "I think you'll find this one of many firsts yet to come."
